Edgewood City School District is proud to offer a high-quality, tuition-based preschool program at Seven Mile Elementary. Designed to give our youngest learners a strong start, our program provides a nuturing, engaging environment where children grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

Our preschool follows a Monday–Thursday schedule, offering both morning (AM) and afternoon (PM) sessions to meet the needs of our families. This four day structure helps young children maintain a healthy balance between learning and rest. By reducing fatigue, students return each week refreshed and ready to learn, leading to better focus, behavior, and overall development.

We’re excited to welcome preschoolers and their families into the Edgewood Community. Our dedicated educators are committed to helping every child build the foundational skills they need for success in kindergarten and beyond.

We offer multiple conveneient payment options, including:

  • Online payments (Credit Cards)

Preschool Application & Lottery Process

Every year in early to mid February, we host a family information night for our preschool program. This is a helpful evening designed for families interested in enrolling their child in our preschool program for the upcoming school year. During this event, we cover everything you need to know, including:

  • Preschool lottery dates and how to apply

  • How to sign up for the lottery

  • What documents and supplies your child will need if selected for enrollment

  • An overview of our AM and PM sessions, curriculum, and daily routines

  • Information about tuition, scheduling, and eligibility

  • A chance to ask questions that you may have

Enrollment for our preschool program is handled through a lottery system each year. Families interested in enrolling their child may apply for the lottery during February and March. A limited number of applicants are selected through the lottery process and invited to secure a spot in either our AM or PM session. Once all available spots are filled, additional applicants are placed on a waitlist and contacted if openings become available.

Please Note:
All preschool spots for the 2025–2026 school year have been filled.

To have your child placed on the waitlist for the 2025-2026 school year, please call 513-867-3420.
