First Day Of SchoolTo help our students transition smoothly into the new school year, get comfortable with their routines, and get to know their teachers in smaller groups, Seven Mile Elementary will use a staggered start schedule for the first few days of school.
Please carefully review the schedule below for your child’s grade level and last name:

Preschool Schedule

  • Monday, August 24th: AM Session ONLY attends. (PM Session does not attend)
  • Tuesday, August 25th: PM Session ONLY attends. (AM Session does not attend)
  • Wednesday, August 26th: ALL Preschool students attend together and normal schedules begin!

Kindergarten Schedule

  • Friday, August 21st: Students with last names A–L attend. (Last names M–Z do not attend)
  • Monday, August 24th: Students with last names M–Z attend. (Last names A–L do not attend)
  • Tuesday, August 25th: ALL Kindergarten students attend together!

1st & 2nd Grade Schedule

  • Tuesday, August 18th: Students with last names A–L attend. (Last names M–Z do not attend)
  • Wednesday, August 19th: Students with last names M–Z attend. (Last names A–L do not attend)
  • Thursday, August 20th: ALL 1st and 2nd-grade students attend together!
  • On the days your child is not scheduled to attend due to the staggered start, they will stay home. This extra time allows our teachers to give individualized attention to our smaller groups as they learn the ropes!
