Welcome to the "Big League": Get Ready for Kindergarten! Starting kindergarten is one of the biggest milestones in your child’s life—and yours! It’s the official start of their K-12 academic journey, filled with new friends, newfound independence, and "a-ha!" learning moments. We know that this transition brings excitement, but it also brings many questions about logistics and what the day-to-day reality looks like. We invite you to our Kindergarten Family Information Night, designed to give you a complete roadmap for the year ahead. This evening is about moving beyond the basics to understand how we prepare your child for future success. What we will explore together: The Kindergarten Experience (A Day in the Life): Kindergarten is a big step up from preschool. We will walk through a typical daily schedule, showing how we balance increased academic focus with necessary playtime, lunch routines, and social development. Building Foundations (Our Curriculum): Learn what your child will actually be studying. We will outline our academic goals for reading readiness, writing, and foundational math, alongside essential social-emotional skills like cooperation and problem-solving. Enrollment: We want to make the enrollment process as stress-free as possible. We will provide a clear, step-by-step explanation of how our kindergarten enrollment system works and deadlines you need to know. Q&A: Our kindergarten team will be on hand to answer your specific questions. We are honored to partner with you as your child begins this exciting new chapter!
